I started the day by lengthening the slot in the Garmin 496 dock where the XM antenna cable enters because the antenna cable mini USB connector is a right angled connector and a longer slot provides better GPS removal and installation clearance. Since I had received my upholestry yesterday I installed the cushions, control stick boots and arm rests. I discovered a manufacturing defect in the foot well floor carpeting so Classic Aero Designs will make and ship me a new one shortly. To finish for the day I drilled the canopy latch handle on the outside for a lock installation so I can lock the aircraft when unattended.
